CCTV INFORMATION NOTICE

This information notice has been prepared by Dentadent Oral and Dental Health Center, in its capacity as data controller, within the scope of Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to Be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.

1. Identity of the Data Controller

Pursuant to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law No. 6698”), your personal data may be processed by Dentadent Oral and Dental Health Center (the “Clinic”), acting in its capacity as data controller, within the scope explained below.

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Within the scope of Article 10 of the KVKK and Article 5 of the Communiqué, and in compliance with the processing conditions set forth in Article 4 of the KVKK, personal data processed through camera systems may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Fulfillment of service obligations under the service agreement; performance of employer responsibilities, ensuring occupational safety, management, supervision and execution of work,
  • Ensuring the security of personal data by monitoring and tracking unauthorized transactions,
  • Preparation of all records and documents that will serve as a basis for processing in electronic (internet/mobile, etc.) or physical environments,
  • Providing information to public officials upon request and as required by legislation regarding matters related to public security,
  • Fulfillment of legal obligations and exercise of rights arising from applicable legislation,
  • Fulfillment of legal obligations in the event that the relevant authority requests information within the scope of judicial and administrative investigations and it is mandatory to respond,
  • Execution of business activities,
  • Conducting occupational health and safety activities,
  • Execution of assignment processes,
  • Providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations,
  • Conducting emergency management processes,
  • Organization and event management,
  • Execution of information security processes,
  • Conducting storage and archiving activities,
  • Ensuring physical premises security.

3. Method and Legal Basis of Collecting Personal Data

Personal data may be obtained through camera systems operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the establishment of a legal relationship. Informative KVKK notices are displayed in areas where camera systems are installed within the workplace.

Your personal data may be processed for the purposes specified in this Information Notice and for the fulfillment of legal obligations, within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK and in accordance with the principles and procedures stipulated by the relevant legislation, in order to ensure the continuation of the Clinic’s activities.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Personal data obtained through camera systems may be transferred, in accordance with the data transfer and processing conditions set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law and for the purposes listed above, provided that adequate and effective measures are taken in compliance with the security and confidentiality principles stipulated by legislation; to third-party service providers in cases where security services are outsourced and to legally authorized public institutions.

5. Rights of the Data Subject

Data subjects have the following rights pursuant to Article 11 of the Law:

  • To learn whether their personal data are processed,
  • To request information if their personal data have been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether personal data are used in accordance with their purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
  • To request the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate personal data and to request notification of such rectification to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred,
  • To request the deletion or destruction of personal data where the reasons requiring processing cease to exist, even though they have been processed in accordance with the KVKK and other relevant legislation, and to request notification of such action to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred,
  • To object to the occurrence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • To request compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing of personal data.

The data subject may submit requests regarding these rights in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Application to the Data Controller. In order to exercise the above-mentioned rights, you may submit your petition including the necessary information to verify your identity in person, via notary public, or through other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.

The requests of the data subject shall be evaluated and concluded free of charge as soon as possible and no later than thirty (30) days. In the event that the evaluation and decision-making process requires an additional cost, the fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Board shall apply.
