What is Porcelain Filling?
Porcelain filling is a type of ceramic (porcelain) restoration prepared in the laboratory according to the size of the tooth and produced specifically for the tooth, if the tissue loss in the tooth is at a level that cannot be restored ideally with classical composite filling.
The aim is not only to fill the cavity, but also to provide the right contact points, healthy bite, natural color harmony and high durability together. In appropriate cases, porcelain fillings can also be considered as an alternative to veneers with its approach that protects tooth tissue.
