All-on-6 Dental Implants Turkey: Is Six-Implant Full-Arch Treatment Right for You?

All-on-6 dental implants in Turkey are a full-arch treatment option in which six implants support a fixed bridge in one jaw. Patients often assume that six implants must be better than four, but the safest design is the one that fits the patient’s anatomy, bite and prosthetic needs.

Dentadent plans full-arch cases from the future teeth backwards. This means the desired tooth position, facial support, speech, cleaning access and bite are assessed before implant positions are finalised.

What Is All-on-6 Implant Treatment?

Six implants are distributed across an edentulous or soon-to-be edentulous arch to support a fixed provisional and later definitive restoration when clinical conditions allow. The treatment can be planned for the upper jaw, lower jaw or both, with each arch assessed independently.

The term describes the number of implants, not a single universal bridge material or surgical protocol. Implant positions, components, temporary teeth and the definitive restoration should all be identified in the individual treatment plan.

When May Six Implants Be Considered?

  • There is sufficient bone in suitable positions across the arch.
  • The planned bridge benefits from wider implant distribution.
  • Bite forces, jaw shape and restorative design support a six-implant approach.
  • The patient can maintain the hygiene required around a fixed full-arch bridge.
  • The treating team considers six implants preferable to four implants or a removable option.

Not every jaw can safely accommodate six implants without additional procedures. Nerves, sinus anatomy, bone loss and previous treatments can affect available positions. More surgery should not be added solely to match a package name.

All-on-6 vs All-on-4: What Is the Difference?

Planning pointAll-on-4All-on-6
Implants per treated archFourSix
Bone requirementsMay use angled posterior implants in selected casesRequires six suitable implant positions
Support distributionDesigned around four supporting implantsMay provide broader distribution when anatomy allows
Best optionDetermined by examination, imaging, bite and prosthetic design—not the implant count alone

If one implant later develops a complication, having six does not eliminate the need for professional assessment or maintenance. Likewise, a well-planned four-implant restoration can be more appropriate than placing six implants in compromised positions.

Can All-on-6 Be Completed in One Day?

Surgery and a provisional fixed bridge may sometimes be completed within a short clinical period. This is immediate loading, not completion of the entire biological and prosthetic process. Healing continues after surgery, and the definitive bridge is commonly produced after the planned integration period.

Immediate loading requires sufficient primary stability and control of the bite. If these conditions are not met, a delayed approach may offer a safer healing environment.

What Should Be Confirmed Before Travelling?

  • Whether the proposal applies to one jaw or both
  • Why six implants are recommended for your anatomy
  • Whether extractions, grafting or sinus procedures may be required
  • Which temporary teeth will be provided
  • Which material and design are planned for the final bridge
  • How many visits and try-in appointments are expected
  • How cleaning, professional maintenance and complications will be managed
